Daniel Suarez is the second and fourth bassist for American rock band New Threads. He is the only member to have left and returned to the band. He is also the only person other than Jacob Keplinger and Justin Siegel to appear on releases in both the Threadsboro Saga and the Free Rock Saga.

Besides playing bass on the entirety of NEW THREADS, Suarez also wrote and sang "KEEP'EMOUT!," a song that was originally slated for release on Seymour Butts' then-unreleased album Jazz Music.

In September 2017, he joined New Threads and was a popular member until his departure in May 2018. He would not return until November 2018, starring in the music video for "America," directed by then-bassist Eric Chalifour.

He rejoined the band officially just prior to the release of Threadsboro, but he was nowhere to be heard on the album. He left the band again with guitarist Jake Burdock following the creation of The Free Rock Trio.

In September 2020, Suarez was a guest on the Gone Wild Podcast, a podcast created by the members of The Free Rock Trio to promote their then-upcoming studio album Gone Wild.
