Jake Burdock was the second lead guitarist for American rock band New Threads. He first appeared on 2019's Felonious Wilma, as well as on all of the 2018 singles for the album. He and roommate Eric Chalifour joined the band at the same time in May 2018 following Daniel and Will Suarez's departures.
He is best known for "Alone, Leave Me" b-side "Monuments," a song that culminated in his early days in the band. It has become a staple of the band's career, and one of their most musically impressive tracks.
He also lent a large hand in 2019's Threadsboro, where tracks like "There Goes My Mind" and "Way Back Home" showcased his solos. When the band announced they would be relocating to Boston, Burdock was not invited along, and, with Suarez, left the band for good. But with the Boston lineup quickly rebranding to The Free Rock Trio, Burdock's legacy as the final lead guitarist for New Threads remains untarnished.
